Interlink's VersaPad is a pressure-sensitive touchpad that adds fingertip mouse pointing, patented Pad-to-Screen Mapping and One-button Gesture Control. Other related technologies include tap-to-select and stylus-based text entry. Tap-to-select is a method for clicking with VersaPoint Stick Mice. At home, many people rest the remote on the arm of a chair and operate it by pushing buttons with their index finger. For these people, tapping the mouse stick to select items is as convenient as tapping to select on a touchpad. A related technology, ePad OEM, can be integrated to provide electronic signature capability.
